Automate Your Impacts For Effortless Giving

B1G1 is most powerful when it's integrated into your business and we've made this possible through our partnership with Zapier. To ensure your impacts are happening seamlessly as you continue with your daily business activities, create ZAPS with Zapier!

Setting up your Zapier account is super easy (and free) to do too. 

To make giving even easier for you, B1G1 offers a few different options for automation.


This is a built-in feature on B1G1 which allows you to turn your Recurring Impacts into automatic monthly impacts. This means that you can automatically create impacts every month, no need to log in.

When creating your Recurring Impact, note the option that says 'Automatically create this impact every month'. Toggle this on or off depending on your preference and click Create.

When creating your first Auto (Monthly) Recurring Impact, you will be asked to choose a billing cycle. On this date each month, you will automatically make a contribution and your linked credit card will be charged.

To check how much and when this automatic transaction is, head to your Billing Page to check Upcoming Charges.


Zapier is a 3rd party online automation tool that allows you to connect apps you use every day to automate tasks and save time, without coding or relying on developers to build the integration.If you are an existing Zapier user, you can already link 5,000+ apps – including MailChimp, Xero, Quickbooks, InfusionSoft, Autotask, PipeDrive, and many more – to B1G1’s Recurring Impacts.

Once you’ve set up the Zaps, whenever your specified activity occurs on your business apps, your Recurring Impacts will be automagically added to the Giving Cart. In other words, you now have endless possibilities of linking your daily business activities with high-impact giving.

An API (Application Programming Interface) is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other and they are a powerful way of automating your Recurring Impacts.

With these APIs, you can create fully flexible custom integrations between B1G1 and your own system or your favorite business tools, allowing you endless possibilities of linking your daily business activities with high-impact giving. Once you’ve set up the integration, whenever one of those activities happens, one of your Recurring Impacts will be automatically added to the Giving Cart.

I have set up my automation with Zapier but the cart is not automatically checking out. What's happening?

The automation with Zapier adds either a Recurring Impact or Project to your cart, but it does not automatically check out your cart. Since the value of the cart is different each time, we cannot pre-authorize your credit card to automatically check out. Please do login to your account and check out your cart at the end of each month (or as frequently as you'd like!).
