Common Questions

Is the membership fee a donation?

The membership fee is not a donation.

Is the membership fee tax deductible?

The membership fee isn’t a donation, so it would not be a charitable tax deduction. It may be accrued as a business expense, but it would be best to check with your accounting team to be sure.

How do I update my credit card information?

The Account Owner can update membership payment details by heading to the Billing page.

Account Owners can grant permissions to other users to manage billing details for Giving as well. See Accounts and Access Rights for more information on how to do that.

My business has changed in revenue size. How do I update my plan?

Please reach out to us at team@b1g1.com for assistance

What types of payment do you accept?

We currently only accept credit card payments.

I received a Failed Payment error, what do I do?

Please reach out to us at team@b1g1.com so we can help!

Can I get a refund?

Of course, we hope we can make your giving journey an enjoyable one and that you’ll find great value in your B1G1 Membership. If you’re not delighted with the program and let us know within 30 days of signing up, we’ll immediately refund your membership fees.

I don't have a business, can I still join?

The tools in B1G1 were created with the aim of making it easy for businesses to give meaningfully. But individuals too can utilize B1G1 to give to projects, create a giving habit with Recurring Impacts (e.g. When I go for a run, I give bricks to build a school), and utilize the giving tools and resources to track the exact number of impacts you create through what you give.

Can multiple businesses share one account?

If you want to enjoy all the benefits of the B1G1 membership and utilise all the given resources for each business, each business will need its own account on B1G1. However, if you want to group multiple business accounts you have in B1G1 and track the collective impacts, you can contact our Partnerships Team to find out more about our Group Membership program.

Do you offer any special plans for young business owners or non-profits?

We are happy to offer tailored membership plans for young entrepreneurs below the age of 21 and non-profit organisations striving to make a meaningful impact. Please reach out to us at team@b1g1.com for more information on the subsidies available.
